Revyn is built on trust between buyers and sellers. This page explains the protections we put in place so you can buy and sell pre-loved fashion with confidence.

1. Buyer protection

Every order on Revyn is protected from payment to delivery.

  • Your payment is held in escrow by Stripe until you receive the item and confirm it matches the listing.
  • If you do nothing, funds are auto-released 48 hours after delivery — you can confirm or open a dispute before then.
  • If the item is not as described, you can open a dispute and our team will mediate.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days.

2. Seller protection

We protect sellers from unfair claims and ensure you get paid for genuine sales.

  • Payouts are guaranteed once the buyer confirms receipt or the 48-hour window expires.
  • Sellers receive 100% of their listing price — Revyn does not deduct a seller commission.
  • If a buyer opens a dispute, you have 72 hours to respond with evidence (photos, tracking, messages).
  • Our team reviews disputes and rules based on the listing, the condition described, and the evidence both sides provide.

3. Verified accounts

We verify identity at key moments to keep the community safe:

  • Sellers complete identity and tax verification through Stripe Connect before their first payout.
  • Phone numbers, emails, and payment methods are validated at sign-up and at sensitive account changes.
  • Suspicious activity triggers additional checks, and we may suspend accounts that fail them.

4. No counterfeits

Revyn has a strict zero-tolerance policy on counterfeit goods.

  • Listing a counterfeit item is a permanent ban and the funds are refunded to the buyer.
  • If you suspect a listing is fake, report it from the listing page and our team will investigate.
  • For high-value items, we may request additional photos, receipts, or authenticity documents before the order is shipped.

5. Safe communication

Keep all conversations and payments inside Revyn so you stay protected.

  • Never share your email, phone number, WhatsApp, or other contact details outside Revyn chat.
  • Never pay or receive payment outside the app — off-platform transactions are not covered by buyer or seller protection.
  • Be cautious of messages that ask you to click external links or move the conversation off Revyn.

6. Reporting and support

If something feels wrong, tell us. We take every report seriously.

  • Report a listing, user, or message directly from the relevant screen in the app.
  • Open a dispute on any order within 48 hours of delivery if the item does not match its description.
